Cameron Wickham
Exec. Vice Chair & CEO
Cameron has over 9 years of experience in public company management and has been involved in a number of going public transactions in Canada and the United States. Cameron has over 5 years of direct cannabis experience advising a number of public issuers including Plant-Based Investment Corp. (CSE: PBIC), Bhang Inc. (CSE: BHNG), Aion Therapeutic Inc. (CSE: AION) and CordovaCann Corp. (CSE: CDVA). Cameron graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce from Queens University.
Christina Pan
Chief Operating Officer
Christina has over 10 years of experience in retail, QSR (Quick Service Restaurant) and CPG (Consumer Package Goods). Since September 2019, Christina has been leading the 180 Smoke business and assisted with the acquisition of 180 Smoke by Spyder. In 2018, Christina joined the booming cannabis sector as a key member of Origin House’s (acquired by Cresco Labs Inc. – CSE:CL) corporate development team where she spearheaded transaction, due diligence and integration for all retail and marketing related assets. Christina has also held various strategy, operations and marketing positions at Tim Hortons and Revlon Cosmetics. Christina graduated with a HBA & MBA from Ivey Business School.
Ankit Gosain, CPA, CA
Chief Financial Officer
Ankit has over 8 years of experience in providing business advisory, accounting and corporate strategy services to a variety of industries including cannabis, technology, pharmaceutical, real estate and natural resources. Ankit has been involved with cannabis issuers for over 5 years and has experience working in national and international accounting firms in Canada. Prior to joining Spyder, Ankit’s practice focused on assisting public companies in resolving complex accounting issues and implementing systems to address corporate governance, regulatory and reporting requirements.
Daniel Pelchovitz
Director, CEO of Cannabis Division
Daniel is the founder of Spyder Cannabis and has over 6 years of experience in the cannabis and vape industries, having successfully launched and operated a number of retail stores. Over the past two years, Daniel has successfully obtained a Retail Operator License from the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (“AGCO”) and a Retail Cannabis Store License from the Alberta Gaming, Liquor and Cannabis Commission (“AGLC”) for Spyder’s wholly-owned subsidiaries to operate its dispensaries.
Mark Pelchovitz
Exec. Chair
Mark is a partner at Truster Zweig LLP where his practice focuses primarily on accounting, auditing, and tax planning in a wide range of fields, including real estate, software development, travel, professionals and the automotive industry. Mark is a CPA, CA, LPA and a BBA, and a graduate of York University’s Schulich School of Business.
Steven Glaser
Director, Chair of Audit Committee
Steven is a financial service executive with a diverse background in corporate finance, communications and governance for private and public companies. Steven is currently Chief Operating Officer, Chief Financial Officer and a Director at Pool Safe Inc. (TSXV: POOL), a company that designs, develops and distributes a product known as the “PoolSafe”.
Marc Askenasi
Director
Marc has over 14 years of experience building numerous successful companies and consulting to both private and public companies across many sectors. Marc currently acts as the owner and president of Pi Co., a premium fast casual restaurant concept. Marc graduated with honours from McGill University, where he focused on industrial relations; management, economics and sociology.
